Ancient of Days draws its name from the majestic title for God—a symbol of timeless wisdom, sovereignty, and enduring life. This blend reflects that sense of grounded power, bringing together ancient tonic herbs with a bold foundation of black tea.
Robust Assam black tea forms the base of the infusion, rich and malty with a full-bodied character that anchors the blend. Schisandra berry, prized in traditional herbalism as the “five-flavor fruit,” adds a complex interplay of tartness, sweetness, and subtle warmth. Licorice root brings natural sweetness and smoothness, softening the boldness of the tea while adding a lingering richness.
At the heart of the blend is eleuthero root, a revered adaptogenic herb associated with endurance and resilience. Its earthy depth lends the tea a steady strength that unfolds gradually through the cup.
The flavor is layered and compelling: strong and malty at first sip, followed by the bright complexity of schisandra, finishing with a smooth, naturally sweet warmth from licorice and the grounding depth of eleuthero.
