A Note on Burning Resin

Resin incense can occasionally “blob” or melt together while burning — especially if too much is added at once. This happens because natural resins contain oils that liquefy with heat before releasing their fragrance. You can also add a thin layer of sand or ash on the charcoal to diffuse the heat for a slower, even burn.
